Hang tight with Titans WR Britt

The Titans have announced that WR Kenny Britt is officially out for the team’s Week 10 game at Miami (via Twitter). And now some fantasy enthusiasts are wondering if Britt should be dropped from their team.

Do not be so hasty.

Hamstring injuries can be tricky. Look at Chargers WRs Malcom Floyd and Legedu Naanee. Those guys have been out what seems like half of the season with hamstring injuries, and they will likely miss this week, too. So the impulse to drop Britt is understandable. Just do not act on it.

There were a number of you — me included — who toyed with the idea of dropping Raiders RB Darren McFadden when he struggled with his hamstring issues. But we were rewarded for our patience.

Britt has shown enough this season that he likely will reward your loyalty if we can just sit tight for the next couple of weeks. Besides, we all know that familiar refrain, sometimes the best moves are the ones you do not make.

And while I hate to leave you on that cliché, just hold on to Britt.
